This light lotion has a delicious aroma and is suitable for all skin types. A base of shea and cocoa butters moisturises and protects the skin, while pure essential oils of Geranium, Grapefruit and Sweet Orange have a stimulating effect.
Directions: Use Essenture Hand & Body Lotion all-over after a shower or during the day on your hands. Having decided to take a proactive approach towards minimising the risk of perineal tearing, or an episiotomy during labour, women wanted an alternative medium to oil for perineal massage and so this balm has been developed. Perineal massage should commence in the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy to stretch and condition the perineum in preparation for childbirth. Massage reduces the chances of painful second degree tearing or episiotomy. It also encourages you to grow familiar with the sensations associated with childbirth (eg baby’s head crowning).
Directions: When the balm makes contact with the skin it instantly melts to form an easy-to-apply lubricant. Massage perineum for 5 minutes daily during the third trimester.
